I cannot even begin to express what an incredible honor and career milestone it is to be nominated for one of the wedding industry’s most coveted and prized competitions to be named a Rangefinder Magazine’s 30 Rising Stars of Wedding Photography. For years, I have combed through the selected 30’s portfolios with mixed emotions - feelings of awe at their incredible talent each year, and also envy of their selection and their work, and even a deep well of sadness - a feeling like I’d never be good enough to compete, and even if I was, they’d never see my work to even ask me to participate.
