What is it about Vegas though?
Every time I'm there, I turn into a weird snarly raccoon - I love all the shiny things, the lights, the noises, the crazy personas. Not to mention - THAT DESERT LIGHT DOH. I'm obsessed with old school retro signs like this at the now abandoned (sadly) Holiday Motel on Las Vegas Boulevard.
Jenna and Jesse, both models who are friends and are not actually a couple, were so down with me to shoot a fun Vegas style shotgun wedding at the Little White Chapel. These two were so much freaking fun and such total troopers for coming out in the middle of the day in heatstroke Vegas to sit on hot pavement and lean against Pink Cadillacs.
This is exactly the type of thing I love to shoot - couples with their own unique sense of style. Note Jenna's badass spiked stilettos, Jesse's green-tipped hair, those retro sunglasses - like my dad would say, "Too cool for school." Okay, okay, so he does say that, but I actually totally say it now too. I'm chockfull of terrible horrifying dad jokes, and I apologize in advance for that. Actually #sorrynotsorry, I'm frikkin' funny.
Then we walked over to the Stratosphere hotel and casino. Guys, there's a theme park on top of this casino. How cool is that. We didn't go up there, but it's still mad-cool. They danced out front of the hotel and didn't care who watched - again, my type of peeps for sure!
So thankful for these two for rockin' it out for me for this Las Vegas Elopement styled shoot!
