Dear Abby and Greg,

There are weddings that feel beautiful.
And then there are weddings that feel earned.

This one felt earned.

From the very first Charleston inquiry you ever sent my way, to standing behind my camera as you walked down that aisle, you have been a part of this chapter of my life and career in ways I don’t take lightly. You were one of the first to believe in me here. To recommend me. To trust me. And that trust built momentum.

Being chosen to photograph your wedding is something I will never forget. Being there to take part in this chapter of your life is truly an honor - there’s just no other way to say it.

You were luminous, in the windows of the Aiken House, in the garden courtyard, beneath candlelight, and surrounded by the people who adore you. And they truly adore you. The warmth in that room wasn’t just from the November air or the glow of taper candles – it was the reflection of how deeply loved you are by friends, colleagues, and family alike.

The design was, of course, impeccable. Understated and refined. Rich neutrals, layered textures, thoughtful restraint. A Charleston evening wrapped in lowcountry polish. It felt like you, elegant without trying, grounded but elevated.

And then there was Ford.

Watching the three of you together, small hands in crisp tux sleeves, soft laughter in between ceremony moments – that was the heartbeat of the day. This wasn’t just a wedding. It was the sealing of a family already in motion.

Greg’s steady presence. Your effortless confidence. The joy woven through every vendor friend who showed up not just as professionals, but as your people.

It was such an honor to document this chapter for you.

Thank you for trusting me – not just with your wedding day, but with years of belief and collaboration that led us here.

I hope these images feel like memory, like warmth on your shoulders and champagne in your hand – every time you return to them.

With so much gratitude and love,

Taylor
