A Winter Garden Party Wedding at the William Aiken House
Alexa and Ben wed a week before Christmas in the heart of Charleston. The air was crisp and filled with anticipation as the sunlight danced across the courtyard. Every detail seemed to glisten under its golden touch, creating a sense of magic that permeated the atmosphere. It was a day that reminded me of the beauty that exists in every corner of the world, waiting to be discovered and celebrated.
Editorial Wedding Photography for the Modern Couple
What Is Editorial Wedding Photography?
Editorial wedding photography combines intentional composition, fashion-informed direction, and visual storytelling with the real emotion and movement of a wedding day.
In my work, that does not mean turning a wedding into a fashion shoot or constantly posing people. I think of it as an editorial-documentary approach: knowing when to step in and shape a portrait, when to pay attention to design and atmosphere, and when to get out of the way completely.
Lowndes Grove | Charleston Wedding Venue
Lowndes Grove is a Charleston, South Carolina premier wedding venue and estate. It is picture-perfect for wedding photography! Built along the Ashley River and surrounded by an oak tree grove, the Lowcountry scenery simply cannot get better. The estate features a grand lawn, a 700 ft. private dock, on-site parking, and a glass enclosed portico. Hedged with tropical floral and fauna, Spanish moss, and palm trees, your guests will feel as though they are on vacation as they take in the scenic views.
