As I sit with these images, I’m struck by how rare this weekend truly was. Not just in its beauty, though it was extraordinary, but in its feeling. The kind that stays with you long after the chairs are cleared and the music fades.

From the very first night at the house on Kiawah — Katie in that unforgettable red Bronx and Banco gown, a vision straight out of a Slim Aarons daydream — to the welcome party at Turtle Point, and finally the Ocean Course, this celebration felt intentional, joyful, and deeply alive. Every color, every texture, every choice felt like it belonged exactly where it was.

But more than the design (which was, without question, one of the most striking weekends I’ve ever had the honor of photographing), it was you. The warmth of your families. The intimacy of a weekend that somehow felt both effortless and profoundly meaningful. The way joy and tenderness coexisted so honestly — honoring love, memory, legacy, and presence in the most beautiful way.

Katie, you truly are a sunbeam. Trevor, your steadiness and charm are undeniable. Together, you create something rare: ease, depth, and a sense of partnership that is felt in every frame.

This was one of the most meaningful and creatively fulfilling weddings of my career, and I’m endlessly grateful you trusted me to witness and document it all.
